iCamp 09 Youth Take over Harold Washington Library
When we arrived downtown we all took a group picture. While walking toward the library we took a quick stop at CVS pharmacy. After we came from CVS we started walking straight to the Harold Washington Library, we went straight upstairs. At first I thought it was going to be like a regular library when you have to be quiet and just read the whole time and get on the computer. Not this library though, we went in the teen room and they said it was a certain part of the room where you can be quite and read also there was another part where you can play games.
Also, they had a private studio and you can record for free and there was another part you could just talk and get on the computer.This was also the first library i seen where you can check out laptops to get on but cant take them out the library. Soon After the librarian told us everything about the library we went straight to work. most of the people was actually signing up for a library card and others was signing up to become a member. Half of us was was writing about our favorite moment of ICAMP.After a few hours we departed from the library and went to grab something to eat at McDonalds. We Stayed a McDonalds for a hour or two and we left to go home.
